What We Do
Girl Flow is a local nonprofit dedicated to empowering young menstruators before and during their menstrual journey. We are passionate about removing the stigma and shame associated with periods and ending period poverty. Period poverty affects education, health, and self-esteem. We offer education, support and free period products to young menstruators in Charlotte, NC and neighboring counties. Girl Flow supports all menstrual equity efforts to help destigmatize periods and make menstrual products as normalized and readily available as toilet paper. We believe that every menstruator deserves the right to flow without feeling unprepared or ashamed.
