For Goodness Cakes matches volunteers to make and hand-deliver birthday & graduation cakes to children in foster care and youth overcoming adversity on their special day. Through partnerships with foster agencies, social workers, domestic violence shelters, and many other agencies, For Goodness Cakes is able to celebrate kids (ages 0-27) that may have never had a birthday cake before! We believe providing a personalized treat gives a child much needed time to not feel the increasing pressure of their socioeconomic situation, and instead help nurture optimism and confidence at a critical age.
For Goodness Cakes is a community of kind-hearted and creative volunteers who bake love into every cake. Their dedication ensures that every child has a chance to feel special and celebrated, no matter their situation.
