Gracious Hands Transitional Housing for Homeless Women and Children

Our mission at Gracious Hands is to improve the lives of women, and children experiencing homelessness by providing sanctuary, support, education, tools and resources that empower them to improve their quality of their lives on every level, achieve greater self sufficiency, and build safe, secure lives. We want to love every woman and child that comes in our program back to life.

To support our mission, we advocate on behalf of our women. We have resources such as life couching, Money management, Self care, Therapy, Credit Repair and Home ownership classes. Their is a 100 percent participation rate in all our programs. We also have just recently open up a daycare to provide women with childcare while working . 

Our vision is that every woman, youth and child experiencing homelessness will have the opportunity to heal, learn and grow, build the foundation for a brighter future, and blossom into who they are truly meant to be. Now that we have a partnership with Habitat For Humanity and Dream Key when our women transition out of our program they will be transitioning into homeownership.

Our Sucess rate we have served over 350 women and their children with thin a period of 8 years.  Over 75 percent of the women we have served have successfully transitioned out into their very own home. They have also saved at least $5000 dollars before transitioning, with a decent paying job. Our latest success story is about one mom coming into our program saving $ 10,0000 and working with our resources to purchase her very first home. Her credit score was in the low 300's and now is well above 700. With the help of Donations from the community we can have many stories like the one above. We are committed to using your donation in the most effective way possible to help the women and children that comes into our homes.
