What We Do

Our mission is to create a community where individuals affected by homelessness, poverty, and unemployment are empowered through our transitional programs and transformed by the love and ministry of Jesus Christ. The Harvest Center's CLT Passport Program is a biblical, value-based incentivized environment for non-chronic homeless families and individuals. Our goal is to walk alongside motivated people through a transformational journey. In our program, participants overcome root causes and obstacles, learn new skills & habits, and break the cycle of situational homelessness through God’s Grace and the Eight Dimensions of Wellness. The Harvest Center of Charlotte has developed a sound plan to bring real solutions to break the cycle of homelessness and housing insecurity for 2,000 of our neighbors. We want to break the generational cycle of situational homelessness and support them in finding a permanent place to live and work in our city.

Interesting Info
  • Participants of our "CLT Passport Program" gain full time employment and transition from homelessness to permanent housing.
  • 1,973.5 volunteer hours in 2022.
