HopeWay's mission is to make HOPE tangible by inspiring mental wellness for all. HopeWay helps fill the gap between hospital and home by offering voluntary residential and day treatment programs for teens and adults. Our holistic model of treatment, which is grounded in science, addresses the medical, psychological and emotional needs of our clients as we equip them with the tools they need to live a successful and independent life. HopeWay also offers special services for Veterans and first responders who are struggling with PTSD and other related mental health conditions in addition to teens and young adults struggling with eating disorders or disordered eating behaviors. Parallel to our mission of offering top-notch mental health care, HopeWay provides educational opportunities for the community to help destigmatize the conversation around mental health. As many as 1 in 5 people are diagnosed with a mental health condition and the number continues to rise. Access to evidence-based mental health care is crucial and life-saving for many. Thanks to the support of our donors and community, we have served over 3,500 people from Charlotte and across the United States since we opened in November of 2016. HopeWay is committed to help meet the ever-growing mental health needs in our community and beyond.
