What We Do
Our mission is to provide new stuffed animals to children who have experienced a life-threatening illness, traumatic event or are at risk. The organizations that our donors / Hugaroo, Inc. supports are still being impacted by COVID-19. These children are in need of "safe" hugs. Hugaroo has worked with our organizations to ensure that we deliver not only the new stuffed animals that are soft and cuddly but in a specific process to keep the children and organization's staff safe. Our donors are also impacted so Hugaroo is always looking for new ways to fund the purchase of these "hugs".
Interesting Info
- Hugaroo has provided new stuffed animals to Levine children's hospital since its early beginning as a Girl Scout Gold Award project.
- HugARoo has delivered the 50,000th new stuffed animal last December at Atrium Health's Levine Children! Watch us grow - anticipate reaching 80,000 by year-end!
- Ultimate goal is to deliver as many stuffed animals as possible to at risk children to provide comfort during a really scary time in their lives.
