What We Do
The Jimmie Johnson Foundation is dedicated to assisting children, families and communities in need throughout the United States.
The Foundation currently focuses on funding K-12 public education, primarily through the Jimmie Johnson Foundation/Lowe’s Toolbox for Education Champions Grants program. Champions Grants have been awarded to 106 school projects located in California, Oklahoma and North Carolina, where the Johnsons grew up and currently reside.
In addition, each year the Foundation selects 5 charities that support K-12 public education to be featured on Johnson’s Blue Bunny Helmet of Hope. Charities are nominated by fans nationwide, and are voted on by the public. Blue Bunny Helmet of Hope charities receive a cash grant and national exposure on the helmet worn for a select Sprint Cup race.
