Jimmie Johnson Foundation
The Jimmie Johnson Foundation is dedicated to assisting children, families and communities in need throughout the United States. The Foundation currently focuses on funding K-12 public education, primarily through the Jimmie Johnson Foundation Champions Grants program.
The Champions Grant Program has historically supported K-12 public schools in California, North Carolina, and Oklahoma. In 2022, the Foundation narrowed our geographic focus to award Champions Grants that have the potential for high impact and significant positive change to K-12 public schools in North Carolina.
Champions Grants are awarded in the following areas: Science & Technology, Language & Literacy, Health & Wellness, and the Arts. Grants will be awarded December 2022. Schools can request between $15,000 and $35,000.
- Founded by 7 x Nascar Cup Champion Jimmie Johnson and his wife, Chandra.
- Since JJF was founded in 2006, more than $13 million in grants has been awarded to schools and non-profits.
