What We Do

Mending Strides Ranch partners people with horses to improve their mental health!

Our programs provide tools and strategies that promote personal growth and healing. Our Equine Specialists partner with Licensed Therapists and Counselors to empower children and adults through customized Equine Assisted Therapy and Learning sessions with our rescued Mustangs and Mini Horses.

Participants in our programs range from those needing growth in areas of communication and confidence, to those in recovery from the effects of trauma, neglect and hardships. They work with specially trained horses and learn about caring for them. The therapy focuses more on learning to care for the animals, rather than learning to ride. No previous experience with horses is needed and all work is done from the ground.

Contact us to learn more about how our dedicated team and rescue herd are changing lives and how YOU can help!

Interesting Info
  • Equine Assisted Learning partners two very sensitive creatures, horses and people. The benefits are numerous!
  • With their naturally honest and empathic natures, horses give clients immediate, honest and non-judgemental feedback.
  • Horses are head and shoulders above other methods of experiential learning!
