What We Do
Playing for Others (PFO) is a leadership training program that combines personal development, service, and the arts to foster leaders who are confident, compassionate, and creative. Serving teenagers rising 8th through 12th grade, this diverse group of teens represents every zip code in and around the Charlotte Mecklenburg area.
Through our core values: Attitude of Gratitude, Acceptance, Accountability, and Action – teens learn to become effective leaders of self and others.
We are cultivating the next generation of leaders, philanthropists, and compassionate human beings.
Interesting Info
Each year we serve on average 75 teens from over 40 different schools.
One of our favorite programs is the Buddy program. Here, teens pair up with children with disabilities or their siblings and develop a year long relationship.
We love to teach teens that you can take what you're passionate about and use it to benefit the greater good.
