MISSION RAIN empowers persons living with HIV and those at risk to be healthy and stigma free. VISION RAIN envisions ending HIV in our community. RAIN integrates the wisdom and voices of those infected with HIV in the planning and delivery of their services. As a result of their work, they inspire and empower more people to live, open more minds, and help break the stigma of HIV and AIDS regionally, nationally, and internationally. Our services include medical case management, outreach to high risk and positive minorities, support groups for youth and adults, benefits advocacy, PrEP and on-site mental health services, among others. RAIN also provides HIV awareness and prevention education programs to thousands of people each year and is one of the largest HIV nonprofits in the Carolinas.
- In 2022, RAIN provided programs and services to 634 unique individuals living with HIV or are at high risk for infection.
- Over 96% of RAIN's clients live at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty Level.
- RAIN envisions ending HIV in our community.
