What We Do
Reentry Housing Alliance connects people with criminal records to safe and affordable housing. We advocate for housing policy change that benefits people with records by informing and educating property owners, government officials, and the public about reentry obstacles.
RHA envisions all communities across North Carolina will one day support fair and equitable access to housing for all our neighbors.
RHA believes that housing is a human right. Persons with a criminal history have a right to housing with no requirements for entry (e.g., a period of sobriety) and no requirements for keeping housing, except those of a normal lease.
