What We Do

Roc Solid Foundation builds hope for families fighting pediatric cancer. We do that through two programs—Ready Bags and Playsets.

Roc Solid Ready Bags are given to families during one of the worst times of their lives… when they find out their child has cancer. Ready Bags include everything that a family might need for their unexpected hospital stay including toiletries, a blanket, a journal, a tablet and more. These essentials are helpful, but we hope they also send a message to each family that they are not alone as they begin this journey.

Roc Solid playsets are provided during treatment. Normal family activities are replaced with doctor’s appointments and treatments that leave kids with weak immune systems – and often the inability to interact in public. A new backyard playset not only provides a safe, germ-free place to play, but it also gives the child and family an escape from the reality of fighting cancer and a way to create happy memories together.
