The Sunflower Club ministry provides nourishment and assisted services to individuals and families in need in our community. Need is not determined by income. Someone who is ill or a caregiver may be in need. There is a void in government assistance for people who are working hard and struggling temporarily. We don't want our neighbors to choose between paying for something in an emergency and buying groceries.
Our mission is to be salt and light in our community. We partner with other ministries and nonprofits to network and refer for a variety of services ranging from a home cooked meal or broken down car to plumbing, chiropractic or even lawn care.
We are a Christ centered ministry. We move with compassion to get people resources they need to thrive. We strive to create a culture of giving and loving one another so we can all succeed.
- Our small cafe in Mint Hill serves allergy friendly treats, coffee & Belgian waffles to fund outreach. We also have art & craft items on consignment.
- We have a homestead in Midland where we host wellness retreats, corporate team building, events & classes.
- Our property in Midland has a fishing pond & greenhouse where we will educate youth and grow produce for our ministry.
