What We Do
Teen Health Connection is a healthcare practice that provides a safe, family-centered environment for adolescents, ages 11 to 22. Services include comprehensive medical and mental healthcare along with health education that is delivered to teens when they need it, as they need it. The healthcare provided is tailored to the unique needs of teens during a time in their lives when life can be confusing and difficult to navigate.
Teen Health Connection also offers outreach education and prevention programs for teens and parents in the community. Programs include: the Teen Advisory Board and Youth Drug Free Coalition; The Big Picture; Parenting the Love and Logic Way parenting classes; Girls Educated and Motivated for Success (GEMS) mentoring program; Youth to Youth Southern States Leadership Conference; and more.
Through our comprehensive medical and mental healthcare and prevention education programs, Teen Health Connection strives to reach its vision: every adolescent empowered to be healthy, safe and successful.
The Teen Health Connection Youth Drug Free Coalition encourages parents and teens to make a pledge to prevent underage drinking and prescription drug misuse at http://www.teenhealthconnection.org/index.php/resources/take-the-pledge.
