Youth Villages is committed to radically improving outcomes for America’s most vulnerable children and families. We believe a stable family and a strong support system can help any child succeed. In North Carolina, we focus on helping the most troubled youth with evidence-based programs including intensive home services for children and youth who have serious emotional, mental, and behavioral problems while also supporting youth aging out of the foster care system.
- Served over 5,000 youth in North Carolina in 2021.
- 94% of youth served are in school and/or employed 1 year after discharge.
- The State of North Carolina has committed a 4:1 match for our LifeSet program for young adults aging out of foster care.
