Anne Springs Close Greenway

Volunteer Opportunity:
Adopt-A-Highway Litter Patrol on and Around the Greenway

This opportunity has passed.

Enjoy over 36 miles of beautiful trails on the Greenway while maintaining its beauty. With 2100 acres we are always working to keep the trails and roads trash-free. Trash is most prevalent along roads (Springfield, Old Nation, Hwy 21), around ponds and under overpasses. Meeting location rotates and will be provided ahead of each volunteer day which is typically scheduled for 9-11 am on the 3rd Saturday of each month. Suitable for youth 13-17 with adult chaperone. This is a great outdoor volunteer opportunity that allows for social distancing too! All supplies provided and the volunteer team is guided by staff or a lead volunteer. Volunteers are invited to stay on after they serve to enjoy the Greenway!
