Volunteer Opportunity:
Angel Tree Stocking Stuffers - $50 Gift Cards for (35) Youth
I'm Interested!

This holiday season, your generous donation of gift cards can be a lifeline for youth facing unimaginable loss and grief while managing their respective mental health diagnosis. Many of these young individuals are navigating the painful realities of having lost parents or having had their parental rights revoked, leaving them feeling isolated and abandoned during a time typically filled with joy and celebration.

Christmas can be especially hard for these youth, as they grapple with feelings of loneliness and sadness while the world around them revels in the spirit of giving. Your gift can provide a moment of warmth and hope, allowing them to experience the joy of choosing a gift that resonates with their hearts. Being unable to make a Christmas wish list for their parents, is one thing.  But the simple act of shopping for something they desire can rekindle a sense of value and belonging, reminding them that they are seen and cared for.

Anderson Outreach is creating a surprise setting for youth who reside in a residential treatment facility to gather around a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, waking up to the smell of a warm breakfast, and discovering a stocking filled with delightful surprises.  Imagine the joy on their faces!  Your gift card will be tucked into these stockings, symbolizing love and consideration, and serving as a powerful reminder that they are not alone.

On that special morning, your kindness will not only bring a smile but will also foster moments of connection and warmth, transforming their holiday experience into something memorable and uplifting. By donating, you’re not just giving a gift—you’re making a profound impact on their lives, offering them a chance to feel cherished and valued, even amidst their grief. Together, we can create a moment of joy and hope for these deserving youth, reminding them that they matter and that brighter days are ahead. Thank you for helping us make this possible.
