Are you passionate about sports and mentoring youth? Center 360 is seeking two Volunteer Flag Football Coaches—one for our boys’ team and one for our girls’ team. As a coach, you’ll have the rewarding opportunity to lead and inspire middle school students (grades 5–8) as they develop teamwork, discipline, and confidence both on and off the field.
Role Overview
The Volunteer Flag Football Coach will oversee a 12-player roster and guide the team through tryouts, practices, and games during the Spring season. This role is perfect for someone who loves football, has strong leadership skills, and is eager to make a positive impact on young lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and lead tryouts starting in February.
- Plan and conduct weekly practices focused on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Coach games held on Sundays between 11 AM–5 PM, from March through May.
- Motivate and mentor players, fostering a fun and inclusive team environment.
- Communicate regularly with players, families, and Center 360 staff about schedules, expectations, and updates.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of flag football rules and strategies (previous coaching or playing experience preferred).
- Enthusiasm for working with middle school students.
- Ability to foster a positive and supportive team culture.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Commitment to Center 360’s mission, values, and integrity.
Time Commitment
- February–May 2025:
- Weekly practices (day and time TBD).
- Sunday games between 11 AM–5 PM (schedule provided in advance).
