Center 360 is a grassroots non-profit organization that provides a holistic approach to career development. Our aim is to empower middle school students who are at-risk of disengaging from school by providing them with life skills training, personal development, and career enrichment activities. We create a safe space where youth can learn self-awareness and resilience, develop academic persistence, and be exposed to career opportunities in the fields of Music, Arts, Athletics, and Technology. Center 360 is now accepting new student registrations for CMS students in grades 5 - 8. We provide transportation from schools within the West Blvd Corridor. We are seeking speakers and businesses to share their professions and journey of getting there. If you are interested in coming to us or having us visit your workplace to expose our youth to the different careers they can consider, please reach out! You can email Shonya Anderson at sanderson@center360.org and Moriah McKinley at mmckinley@center360.org. We also need volunteers and tutors (for core subjects) to assist students during programming, as well as donations of healthy snacks and/or light meals, as the students are with us from 3:30p - 6:30p and they get hungry during that time!
- Since 2015 Center 360 has provided free enrichment programs for the youth of West Charlotte. In 2022, we expanded to include Francis Bradley Middle School.
- 100% of students who complete our career enrichment program has advanced to the next grade level.
- Center 360 will become a fully-fledged youth center that provides programs and services for youth who are disengaged or from a low socioeconomic background.
