Community Link is in search of individuals interested in serving as a Committee Member, which feeds into our Board of Directors.
This is an opportunity to get involved with our mission to enable individuals and families to obtain and sustain safe, decent and affordable housing. Committee Members are passionate about the work that Community Link achieves in the community- members include VITA volunteers, former Community Link clients, engaged professionals, and more.
Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:
- A commitment to and understanding of Community Link's mission
- An affinity for cultivating relationships that support the work of the agency
- Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a passion for improving the lives of people we serve
Our Committee Members make a commitment to meet virtually, or in-person if called, throughout the year. New committee members are required to serve on our Fund Development Committee for the first few months of engagement. This committee meets monthly and you are able to join another committee that pertains to your strengthens. Committees include Audit, Board Development, Finance, Human Resources, Fund Development, Marketing, and Strategic Planning.
This commitment averages 2 - 4 hours of committee work per month including meetings, networking, and volunteering.
