Community Link NC

Free Tax Prep CLT is a volunteer-supported program organized by Community Link. We utilize IRS training materials to ensure that volunteers are prepared to maximize tax returns. We aim to support low-to-moderate income households with this program.

Volunteers were able to prepare 2,035 tax returns for the 2023 tax season!

This is a 25% increase compared to last year. The total refund amount was $1,973,682.. this money returns back into the local economy and impacts the community- the calculated impact is $13,815,774!

We are seeking volunteers. We will train you to be a greeter.

This opportunity is limited to volunteers in the Charlotte metro area. All sessions are held in person at Community Link (601 E. 5th Street) in Charlotte, NC.

Greeter training is a half day course (Dec. 7th OR Jan. 4th) from 8:30AM - 11AM.
