Machiah’s House, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization with a mission to improve the lives of young women who have aged out of foster care through an innovative partnership of community resources that enhance their safety and quality of life.
We are seeking a dedicated and charismatic Community Outreach Volunteer Coordinator to lead our development efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for securing financial support from various sources and cultivating lasting relationships with major donors. This role involves strategizing and implementing approaches to build and maintain a strong base of individual donors committed to supporting our mission annually. Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead development initiatives to expand our outreach and increase funding opportunities.
- Secure financial contributions from individuals, foundations, and corporations to support Machiah's House programs and objectives.
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with major donors, ensuring their ongoing engagement and support.
- Create and execute a comprehensive strategy to establish a substantial and sustained base of annual individual donors.
- Collaborate with team members to organize fundraising events and campaigns.
- Represent Machiah's House at community events and in various forums to enhance the organization’s visibility and expand our network.
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire a wide range of stakeholders.
- Proven experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and leadership.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
