Executive Assistant

Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Executive Assistant Intern. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in non-profit management and administration, supporting the Executive Director and senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Director with daily administrative tasks, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and preparing correspondence.
  • Organize and maintain digital and physical files, ensuring easy access and confidentiality.
  • Prepare and edit reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries for the Executive Director and other staff members.
  • Attend and take minutes during executive meetings, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Help with special projects, research, and data analysis to support strategic initiatives.
  • Manage communications with stakeholders, including donors, partners, and volunteers.
  • Assist in event planning and coordination.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably in business administration, public administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for mental health advocacy and community service.
  • Prior experience in an administrative role is a plus, but not required.

Time Commitment:

  • Flexible hours with a minimum commitment of 15 hours/week.
  • Monday-Friday
  • Internship duration: minimum 6 months.
