Volunteer: Fundraising Intern, Down syndrome Association of Greater Charlotte

The Down Syndrome Association of Greater Charlotte is seeking a fundraising professional to help with development of organization strategy and impact. This position will be (remotely) managed by the Executive Director and will collaborate with the Program Coordinator. Please note that this is a VOLUNTEER position. Candidates can work remotely from anywhere. We are seeking a minimum commitment of three to five hours weekly.

Primary Responsibilities
TASKS MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Tracking Fundraising efforts around major events (3-2-1 Dash, Golf Fundraiser, etc.)
Research and strategy planning for fundraising opportunities in the Charlotte area
Admin tasks related to fundraising: Flipcause updates, Thank You Card creation, excel tracking for raffle baskets, etc.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Strong writing skills
