Agape Acres

Volunteers will be trained to assist special needs riders that need support. Volunteers should be steady on their feet and able to walk alongside a horse for extended periods of time. (Up to 30-45 minutes). Experience with horses is very helpful but not required. Background checks will be required. 

Horse walking sessions can be 30 to 45 minutes and volunteers may have shifts of multiple sessions. 

Shifts can be M-F. Agape Acres prefers volunteers to commit to the same day/time each week for continuity. 

Shift chores can and may include grooming and tacking horses for riding sessions.
