We are growing and need some infrastructure help! We've discovered that transitioning from the public sector into the non-profit world, requires a little more legal structure that our team expected.
We need a project-based person to make sure we are compliant and up to date on things like a Whistleblower Policy, Confidentiality Agreements, Liability Releases, and the list goes on. (Yes, we have them, just need to update).
As an all-volunteer organization, we anticipate hiring a staff soon. We will need an employee handbook too. Even though our Founder has an HR background, it's been a little while since she left it, and things have most likely changed up a little bit.
We also need to trademark our logos (Yep, we have more than one)
And, if you are interested, we'd also love to have you join our Board of Directors. It's easy, just 12 meetings per year and all the coffee and donuts (and apple muffing) you can consume. Meetings are held at our office in Conover, NC and also offer a Zoom option. And if that is not your interest, that's okay too. Just help us with the other things.
