Eagle Rock Camp

Eagle Rock Camp is a family saving, suicide prevention organization that serves veteran, active-duty, National Guard and reservist families.

We host our families at weeklong, therapeutic retreats that help them reconnect with their families and communities and teach them a new way to heal from the moral and spiritual wounds of war. We make miracles happen. Sometimes they happen around a campfire.

Veteran and military families are already at a 200% higher risk of death by suicide than civilian counterparts. Combine that with isolation, fear, uncertainty about the future you have an increase in mental health issues, financial stress, family abuse, drug and alcohol abuse, neglect of children, financial stress and a higher than normal risk of death by suicide.

SPECIFIC VOLUNTEER NEEDS:

Because of the nature of our work, retreats are kept private. Volunteers who serve at our retreats will undergo rigorous background checks. Reach out for very specific skills-based opportunities.

Board of Directors - we are enhancing our Board - if you are ready to roll up your sleeves to serve the board in both governance and possibly operational support, let us know! We would be glad to have you join the Board Team!

Grant researcher - Tens of Thousands of grantors are out there. Help us find the ones that support veteran and military families. We have a database ready and waiting for you to search!

Ready to have some fun, while raising money? Join our fundraising team! Help plan and execute fun events.

Marketing - design, produce and deliver messaging about our brand. This can be done by an intern to help build your skills! Marketing - video production. We need 12 short videos, approximately 15-30 seconds each.

Social Media - if you love doing social media, consider doing it for a cause. You will find, schedule and post regularly on the top social media platforms used by our military families and donors.
