Learning Help Centers of Charlotte (LHCC)

Family navigators will be paired with the family of a high school student to help them travel from 8th grade through high school to the right next steps for them. With support from LHCC staff, you will help the family understand and complete steps like high school registration, extracurricular activities, goal setting, and preparing for life beyond high school. No specialized experience is required, simply willingness to learn along with a family in these important years of their life. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who has launched or is launching their own young adults. Time commitment is flexible, and can be scheduled to fit the needs of the volunteer and family.
