We have a Volunteer Clean-Up Event / Live United Day- sponsored by Equitable and United Way of Greater Charlotte, NC.
It is on Saturday, April 27th. From 9:30am - 12:00pm and will sure to be a great opportunity for bringing in others from your organization for volunteering and team building.
As you are aware, we are working tirelessly to acquire ownership of a closed down CMS school building across the lot from our office. That building will one day become Lakeview's Economic Mobility Hub. It will house a textile-like community cooperative, event space, a youth programming center, retail space, a banking institution, a greenhouse, a grocery market, dining opportunities, and so much more! The volunteer duties at this cleanup event will be dedicated to that building- boarding windows and securing doors, moving and removing heavy items, trash pick up, and shed cleanouts.

EHub Clean Up Agenda 9:00am-9:30am Event Set Up 9:30am-10am Check-in/Registration 10:00am - 10:15am Welcome (Sponsors of the event will Speak, and distinguished guest will be recognized)
10:15am - 11:05am EHub Clean Up & Repairs (Led by LNA Team & Zone Captains)
11:05am - 11:45am EHub Clean Up & Repairs Concludes & LNA Place-Based Community Engagement Begins (Resident Engagement with Community Partners, Food, Fun, and Gift Card Distribution for residents that volunteered and completed their passport with Community Partners.)
11:45am - 12:00pm Begin Breakdown of Equipment
12:00pm - 1:00pm Event officially concludes & Clean Up of Equipment
