The goal of our volunteer Marketing Ambassador process is to determine if we are a good fit for each other – your level of commitment and ability to deliver on our expectations so that we are confident that you can help us to increase the scope and impact of our work. Your interest offers us an opportunity to know more about you, your skills, attributes and what you would bring to our organization.

Responsibilities:

The Volunteer Marketing Ambassador is an experienced, goal-oriented Marketing professional to help us devise an effective nonprofit marketing strategy and manage our nonprofit initiatives. You will be in charge of developing creative tactics to reach our target audience by designing public programs and events, contacting outreach organizations, and guiding our advertisement campaign. Oversee many creative, digital, analytical, and financial aspects of marketing projects. Expand our organization, attract new donors and sponsors, and promote healthy relations with our business partners. Help us facilitate this by managing community outreach programs, maintaining our social media presence, and contacting our supporters. 

The personality traits you bring to our organization will help us to ensure that we have a diversity of personality styles and traits that, when added to our current members, will enhance the ability of the organization's members to work together as a governing body.
 

  • Committed to the work of Machiah's House (Mission, Vision, and Core Values).
  • Planning, developing, and directing multiple avenues of marketing strategies to drive awareness of organization.
  • Overseeing social media accounts and websites to engage existing organizations and establish positive public relations.
  • Manage a nonprofit marketing board and improve awareness of our organization among the target demographic. 
  • Overseeing content production to ensure messaging consistency.
  • Develop and maintain an approach that will generate consistent online outreach. 
  • Identify opportunities for online traffic growth, set organizational objectives, and organize promotional and fundraising activities. 
  • Researching trends and new marketing opportunities, brainstorming ideas, addressing problems and troubleshooting campaigns.
  • Coordinating and producing financial documents for advertising campaigns, such as budgets, estimates, and contracts.
  • Communicating and negotiating with ad agencies, employees, marketing staff, editors, and writers
  • Analyzing community feedback and campaign performance


Skills: 

  • Credible work experience in a nonprofit organization
  • Strong organizational and project management and planning skills
  • Creative thinker who can pinpoint the specific needs of a project but also keep in mind the larger components necessary for its completion. 
  • Confident leader and someone who plans ahead. 
  • Exceptional time-management and problem-solving abilities are a big asset. 
  • Working knowledge of project management software is an additional plus. 
  • Expected to possess a superb grip on spoken and written English to ensure smooth, error-free communication with our users.
  • Familiarity with current nonprofit marketing and fundraising practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and strong attention to detail
  • Personable and able to work in a team environment
  • Creative and innovative thinking with good research and problem-solving skills
