American Cancer Society

The Volunteer committee will work the American Cancer Society staff partner, participating in virtual calls, to grow the Men Wear Pink Campaign and make sure they achieve their fundraising goal ($100,000).  With a focus on recruitment committee members roles are below. 

• Identify and recruit candidates to participate in the Men Wear Pink campaign by leveraging community and network. 
• Coach and cultivate candidates to ensure they fulfill the expectations of the campaign, encouraging promotion through social media and networking.  
• Work to prospect and secure local sponsorships including campaign/event sponsors and in-kind sponsors. 
• Work with staff partner to establish and execute marketing and communication including social media, to spread awareness of Men Wear Pink . 
• Provide recognition of candidates throughout the campaign season, August- October.  
• Assist with logistics of planning campaign and events.
