PurpleStride is the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer! Why pancreatic cancer? Because it's the #3 cause of cancer death, with only a 12% five-year survival rate. PurpleStride is a one-day event in Charlotte and across the US, when we stride in a sea of purple to build awareness and create hope. It's inspiring, fun, and important! Last year we had over 1,200 registrants and we expect even more this year!
Your participation helps pancreatic cancer patients in our local area by:
- Offering free, personalized support and expert resources through PanCAN Patient Services
- Providing molecular testing at no cost through PanCAN’s Know Your Tumor®
- Supporting PanCAN’s world-class research for early detection and accelerated treatments https://pancan.org/research/
HOW CAN YOU HELP? Whether you want to volunteer for one day or for a longer period, there's a role for you! We have opportunities such as: Food & Beverage, Sponsorships, Set-up or Tear-Down, In-kind Donations, Registration&Check-In, Start/Finish Line Cheerers, T-shirt Processing, Packet Pick-up, Route Marshals & Water Station Attendants, Parking & Handicapped Assistance, and many other roles!
