She Dreams In Color Foundation is seeking 11 to 13 event support volunteers to help run their spring signature event "The Queen's Tea Party" on Sunday, May 4, 2025, which runs from 1:30 to 4:30 PM. The Queen's Tea Party is a program where we build community, incorporate art and dialogue to destigmatize mental health needs and seeking care.
All volunteers are able to enjoy our full service tea party in addition to their services.
Two volunteers are needed at 10 AM to set up and help decorate.
One volunteer is needed for social media video and photos.
Four volunteers are needed at 12:30 to assist with guest registration through 2pm when the Tea Party begins.
Three volunteers are need to staff our tables with candle sales, program information we offer, and a new community event we're offering.
Eight volunteers are needed at 12:30 and will serve as table captains to help encourage dialogue and introductions among table guests.
All volunteers will be served at the tea party as guests and should dress in Spring garden party or Tea Party attire and colors they feel comfortable in. Photos from last year show the variety of outfits our guests wore. Volunteers can change and freshen up prior to the event.
The event expects 100 people and it will be held at the Charlotte Museum of History. This event is for women, femme identifying, and 16+ years old only.
