Agape Acres

Volunteer tutors needed for youth in the mentoring program. Tutors would meet with youth either prior to or after the youth's mentoring session at Agape Acres. Tutoring subjects are as needed, based on the need for the child.

Tutoring sessions are up to 1 hour, may be Monday-Friday. Tutoring sessions will be conducted either indoors (Agape Acres office/cabin) or outdoors on property (picnic tables, etc.), weather dependent. Agape Acres would prefer volunteer tutors to commit to the same day/time each week for the child they are working with.

Teaching experience a plus but not required.

Background checks are required. 

Youth are always in the presence of 2 adults at all times. Adults on site include staff, mentors, volunteers, or floaters.
