Heart Math Tutoring

Help Charlotte elementary students build math skills and confidence with just 1 hour per week!

  Volunteers are matched with a student from select elementary schools throughout Charlotte who needs extra support in math. Volunteers tutor their students once per week throughout the school year. Heart Math Tutoring provides activities, materials, training, and on-site support. 97% of over 5,000 HMT students to date have met academic growth targets, and teachers report that Heart students show increases in confidence and enthusiasm towards math.
