Volunteer Social Media Coordinator

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Volunteer Social Media Coordinator to help grow WFF’s social media platforms and increase engagement with our community. In this role, you will develop and implement strategies to expand our online presence, raise awareness of our mission, and engage a wider audience. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about social media, storytelling, and making an impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and schedule engaging content across WFF’s social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
  • Develop strategies to increase follower growth and engagement.
  • Assist in crafting visually appealing graphics and posts that align with WFF’s mission and brand voice.
  • Engage with our community by responding to comments, messages, and building relationships with followers.
  • Help track social media analytics to assess growth and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with the team to promote fundraising initiatives, events, and campaigns.
  • Stay up-to-date on social media trends and best practices to keep WFF’s online presence dynamic and fresh.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with social media platforms (especially Instagram and Facebook).
  • Strong communication and creative writing skills.
  • Graphic design experience (Canva or similar tools)
  • Passion for WFF’s mission and empowering marginalized communities.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in growing our social media presence.
  • Experience in social media strategy or content creation is a plus!
