Each year, we hold Holiday Heroes, a campaign that spreads joy to the youth we serve through holiday gift giving. This year our North Carolina office is aiming to fulfill the wishlists of more than 600 youth. Because 80% of the youth that we serve live below the poverty line, we know that these items aren't just gifts: they provide joy and warmth to youth who are navigating difficult circumstances.
1. Shop Online using our Amazon Registry: some of our most requested items are sports balls, bedding, headphones, speakers, and warm weather clothes.
2. General Gift Drive: Let us know if you want to hold a holiday gift drive, and we'll share more information with you, including a list of our most needed items with you and tips on how to make your gift drive successful!
3. Hands-on Volunteering: We invite you to join us for a volunteering session(s) where we would organize the gifts together for the youth based on their wishlists, which includes their most requested items and more information about the youth such as their favorite color, interests, and hobbies. Hands-on volunteering is available from November 15-December 10th.
