What We Do

Our mission is to enable individuals and families to obtain and sustain safe, decent and affordable housing. We serve our customers from homeless to homeownership, every step of the way.

In our Homeless to Housing program, we help homeless individuals and families secure affordable places to live. We also help customers address the issues that led to homelessness.

In our Asset Building program, low-to-moderate income households can avoid foreclosure, grow savings, or buy a first home.

Our financial empowerment workshops include budgeting, saving, and understanding credit to improve participants' financial independence.

Many Community Link customers are single mothers with children. We do a great deal of work with survivors of domestic violence to find these families safe housing in our community or elsewhere.

Homeless: We serve homeless customers by identifying housing for them and conducting virtual inspections to ensure properties are safe. This need has taken on added urgency as we seek to limit community spread of COVID-19.

Evictions: We anticipate thousands of families in our service area will be under threat of eviction soon. Community Link aids customers facing eviction by providing rental subsidies and counseling on how to build assets to move towards financial independence. We also assist in the search for a new home.

Foreclosures: Hundreds of homeowners under threat of foreclosure have contacted us over the last few months. We provide mortgage counseling and help our customers communicate with their mortgage serving company to talk over possible solutions.

If you are facing eviction or foreclosure, we are here to help and provide referrals to other beneficial services. Contact us at
