What We Do

Fight The Flame's mission is to raise awareness and educate the public about Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). CRPS is a chronic, debilitating pain disorder that usually affects a limb after an injury. We have held ten extremely successful Fight the Flame® 5k races, donating approximately $200,000 towards CRPS research, education, and awareness programs. We also hold a monthly support group for those who are suffering from CRPS and their families.

Interesting Info
  • CRPS has been nicknamed the “suicide disease.”
  • CRPS is the most painful condition known to mankind.
  • Most people with CRPS have to visit 8-10 doctors before receiving the correct diagnosis.
