SHARE CHARLOTTE ANNOUNCES 2022 BOARD OF DIRECTORS   Diverse Mix of Business and Community Leaders Includes Three New Members  
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (2/10/22) – SHARE Charlotte, a one-stop shop for connecting with 500+ Mecklenburg County nonprofits, today announced its 2022 Board of Directors that includes 8 returning members and 3 new additions including:

Tamara Johnson, Ph.D. , Director of Engaged Scholarship at UNC Charlotte
 
Tamara develops policies, structures, and programming that supports engaged scholarship and enriches the student experience through experiential and community-based learning. She works collaboratively to create strategic initiatives that align teaching and research around urgent community needs.  She also coordinates the 49er Democracy Experience strategy team, a committee of faculty, staff, and students dedicated to civic learning and voter engagement. Tamara co-founded and directs UNC Charlotte’s Bonner Leaders program.

Ohavia Phillips, M.S. D.B.A. Chief Executive Officer at The Oh Show LLC
 
Ohavia (Oh) Phillips is a successful media figure, skillful communicator, content creator, and Emcee, as well as the host of her own popular show, The Oh Show. Ohavia graduated with honors from Walden University, where she earned a master's degree in crisis communication and public relations. She has also been featured in numerous international and local magazines, including Southpark Magazine, Charlotte's Creative Newspaper, Charlotte Magazines, and Elevate Magazine.

Rob Phocas,  Director, Corporate Social Responsibility at AvidXchange, Inc.

Rob Phocas is the Director of Corporate Social Responsibility at AvidXchange, which includes oversight of the AvidXchange’s Foundation and community engagement.  Prior to joining AvidXchange, Rob was the Director of Sustainability for the City of Charlotte for ten years. He was also most recently the Board Chair of E2D, a nonprofit who focuses on providing devices to help eliminate the digital divide.
