Charlotte, You're Invited to Give GOOD on December 3rd

Charlotte, you have GOOD to give!

Ever been invited to do something with over one million other people?  Consider this your formal invitation!  Support your favorite Mecklenburg County nonprofit or cause and give back locally on #GivingTuesdayCLT (Tuesday, Dec. 3rd) and join your greater Charlotte area neighbors as we give together as part of the largest global giving movement in history, GivingTuesday

#GivingTuesdayCLT, presented by Wells Fargo and powered by SHARE Charlotte is CLT’s local response to the global GivingTuesday movement. Since 2014, #GivingTuesdayCLT has inspired more than 15,000 new donors and over $24M in value (financial donations, tangible goods and volunteer time) for local nonprofits. We want to make sure EVERYONE in Mecklenburg County is invited to participate and to know that whatever they have to give - big or small, money, time, goods - has tremendous value.

Everyone has good to give and it doesn’t matter what good you give, just that you care enough to do so.

Don’t think you have GOOD to give? Check your pulse.

Give the gift of blood this #GivingTuesdayCLT at one of the five Red Cross blood drives happening at YMCA locations in honor of this global day of giving on December 3rd:

11/24: Morrison YMCA
12/3: Keith Family YMCA
12/3: Lake Norman YMCA
12/3: Brace Family YMCA
12/5: Stratford Richardson YMCA

The global GivingTuesday movement is fueled by the power of social media. That's why on December 3rd, the #GivingTuesdayCLT H.Q. (aka Not Just Coffee / hygge on Jay street) is THE place for Charlotte nonprofits to be to make creative, fun social media content on-site and, of course, celebrate!

We have a talented group of professionals lined up who are going to volunteer their time and talent to help local, Charlotte nonprofits with photography, .gif creation, micro-interviews, quick videos, captioning and social media assistance - all for free for any organization who wants to stop by that day and take advantage of it. Want more info? Check out these 10 Reasons to Put This On Your Calendar!

Not a nonprofit, but love Charlotte's nonprofit community? Come support your favorite causes on this global day of giving! Stop by and use your own personal influence or your business's reach for GOOD - it's easy and fun and we'll show you how!

BONUS: All guests will aslso have the chance to donate a $100 Lowe's Home Improvement gift card to their favorite nonprofit (at no cost to the donor!) and enjoy free food, a DJ, beverages (adult + not), goodies and more!

Thank you this year’s partners who are supporting local GOOD in a big way, including our presenting partner Wells Fargo, and official partners Lowe’s, Google Fiber, Hendrick Family Foundation, Spiracle Media, AvidXchange and the Amy and Brian France Foundation
