Ever been invited to do something with over one million other people? Consider this your formal invitation! Support your favorite Mecklenburg County nonprofit or cause and give back locally on #GivingTuesdayCLT (Tuesday, Dec. 3rd) and join your greater Charlotte area neighbors as we give together as part of the largest global giving movement in history, GivingTuesday.
#GivingTuesdayCLT, presented by Wells Fargo and powered by SHARE Charlotte is CLT’s local response to the global GivingTuesday movement. Since 2014, #GivingTuesdayCLT has inspired more than 15,000 new donors and over $24M in value (financial donations, tangible goods and volunteer time) for local nonprofits. We want to make sure EVERYONE in Mecklenburg County is invited to participate and to know that whatever they have to give - big or small, money, time, goods - has tremendous value.
Everyone has good to give and it doesn’t matter what good you give, just that you care enough to do so.

Get Recognized at CBJ's First Ever Philanthropy Awards!
The Charlotte Business Journal and SHARE Charlotte have teamed up for #BizGivesCLT, CBJ's first ever awards event dedicated to celebrating local philanthropy! #BizGiveCLT will be held on Thursday, December 12th and will recognize Charlotte businesses who supported their favorite local nonprofit in BIG, bold and creative ways on #GivingTuesdayCLT, Dec. 3rd.

Or, if you already have a relationship with a nonprofit you love, plan to make your gift on #GivingTuesdayCLT and be sure they nominate you for an award to be recognized for your generosity!

The global GivingTuesday movement is fueled by the power of social media. That's why on December 3rd, the #GivingTuesdayCLT H.Q. (aka Not Just Coffee / hygge on Jay street) is THE place for Charlotte nonprofits to be to make creative, fun social media content on-site and, of course, celebrate!
We have a talented group of professionals lined up who are going to volunteer their time and talent to help local, Charlotte nonprofits with photography, .gif creation, micro-interviews, quick videos, captioning and social media assistance - all for free for any organization who wants to stop by that day and take advantage of it.
