But how can you invest in your community if you don't fully understand the challenges or know how to make a meaningful impact that aligns with your budget, time or interests?
To help Charlotteans (new or established) understand the dynamics of our local nonprofit community and how everyone can contribute in their own way, we launched this fun and interactive class:
“Charlotte Philanthropy 101 - Your Guide to Giving Local”, presented by LendingTree which will unpack:
- Biggest community challenges impacting Charlotte
- Facts about Charlotte nonprofits
- Biggest needs nonprofits have
- How do you get plugged in and where to start
This free short presentation can range from 30 minutes to 1 hour and can be done in-person or via zoom. This class includes an activity sheet that helps attendees delve into their areas of interest and measure their volunteer impact. Plus, we offer a fun volunteer matching quiz to help them find their perfect volunteer match.
This class is perfect for local companies who have employees that want to volunteer or get more involved in their community and are not sure where to start. We can help!!
