Monday, July 13th
Pinky Swear Foundation supports families caught in the tragic reality of their child's cancer diagnosis and treatment and one way that they do this is through a free food pantry for families in the pediatric oncology unit at Levine Children's Hospital. Compassion to Act a faith-based ministry that rescues exploited women and provides them with the resources and relationships to succeed after trauma. Feeding Charlotte collects fresh, unserved, surplus meals from restaurants, caterers and institutions and delivers the meals to local nonprofits who feed the hungry. Throughout the pandemic, they have adapted their services and are packing and distributing to-go containers of food and snacks to the hungry. Tuesday, July 14th
Hugaroo’s mission is to provide new stuffed animals to children who have been admitted to the hospital with a diagnosis of cancer, or have suffered a life-threatening illness, or other traumatic condition.
