SHARE Charlotte Kicks Off Annual Promotion Encouraging Community to Shop for GOOD
Shop for GOOD runs Sunday, July 12- Sunday, July 19



(CHARLOTTE, N.C.) – Shop for GOOD, presented by Bank of America, encourages the community to shop for the tangible items local nonprofits need most to run their programs and businesses which can be found in SHARE Charlotte’s Give Shop®- an online marketplace that consolidates hundreds of local nonprofits’ Amazon wish lists. 

By shopping for a local nonprofit’s most needed items, and having them sent directly to that nonprofit’s doorstep, the community is not only able to save that organization money, but also valuable time that can be better spent focusing on their mission. This year, SHARE Charlotte is reminding the Charlotte community that by shopping a nonprofit’s wish list, they are taking something off a nonprofit’s to-do list as well.

How To Participate

  • Shop for GOOD! Visit July 12-19 and purchase the items your favorite local nonprofit(s) need most. Less familiar with our nonprofit community? You can find organizations with missions close to your heart by using our custom filters to narrow down your search! Consider buying out an entire wish list - many can be bought out for under $500.

  • Give nonprofits a boost by using social media to tell your own circle of influence how they can Shop for GOOD July 12-19. Or simply follow SHARE Charlotte on social media and re-post content this week to help spread the word. Follow @sharecharlotte on Facebook and Instagram, and @shareclt on Twitter.

“The reason we partner with SHARE Charlotte for these calls to action is because SHARE has a real pulse on community needs and continues to innovate based on feedback directly from their nonprofit partners,” says Bank of America Charlotte Market President Charles Bowman.

“Shop for GOOD educates our community about the tangible needs of our local nonprofits while providing a convenient way for donors to support their favorite causes without leaving home - which is especially convenient in this new environment," adds Bowman.
