Volunteering for Crazy Busy People: Charlotte Community Toolbank

Volunteering can happen even when you’re crazy busy! Check out this quick opportunity to do good:

Nonprofit: Charlotte Community Toolbank

When: February 17th, 10am-2pm

Where: Charlotte Community ToolBank, 2513 South Tryon Street Charlotte, NC 28203

Who: Great for groups

Why: This is a nonprofit tool lending program that provides nonprofit organizations with year-round access to an inventory of tools for use in volunteer projects and for facility and grounds maintenance. Access to ToolBank tools eliminates the need for agencies to incur the expense of purchasing, repairing, and storing tools, reducing the costs associated with service projects. It allows agencies to focus more of their resources on their mission.

What you’ll do: Organizing and rearrange tools and warehouse clean up. Note: the warehouse is not temperature controlled. Please wear layers and closed toe shoes.
