Volunteering for Crazy Busy People: Sow Much Good

Volunteering can happen even when you’re crazy busy! Check out this quick opportunity to do good:

Nonprofit: Sow Much Good

When: Tuesday or Wednesday mornings, 9-12AM (spend all 3 hours, or just what you can spare)

Where: Sunset Road Urbam Farm or Hubbard Road Production Farm

Who: Great for individuals, kids 10 and up welcome when accompanied by an adult

Why: Sow Much Good is committed to growing healthy communities in underserved neighborhoods. They grow chemical free foods at 2 farm sites and provide access via a satellite farmer's markets, cooking demos, canning classes, and growing classes for low income residents.

What you’ll do: Help with a variety of site activities. Tasks may include weeding, watering, planting, mulching, soil preparation, and more.
