#52Tuesdays: 2ULaundry Gives GOOD This Holiday Season
It is always encouraging to see local for-profit businesses pairing up to do GOOD for local nonprofit organizations, especially this time of year.
We are excited to SHARE about the generosity of our friends at 2ULaundry, a local delivery laundry and dry cleaning service in the area, who are supportive of the nonprofit community year-round, but who are doing something special this holiday season.
2ULaundry will be volunteering as a company for Crisis Assistance Ministry, Saturday December 15th. They will have almost all of their full time employees at the Crisis Assistance Ministry free store to help however they can for the majority of the day including helping to collect clothing donations, sort them, move items around, and even help those who need it while they are shopping through the store.
In addition to the hands-on volunteer efforts they will be donating on the 15th, 2ULaundry is planning a weekly drop-off of donated clothes to Crisis Assistance Ministry as part of their 2URewards program. The 2URewards program will offer a complimentary clothing donations pickup.
Members of the 2URewards program simply fill a bag with clothing donations and set it out marked as a donation with their normally scheduled 2ULaundry pickup. 2ULaundry will accumulate all of the donations and take them back to Crisis Assistance Ministry on a weekly basis.
“We love that our customers want to give back to their community, and we want to help,” says Daniel Mallard, Senior Account Manager at 2ULaundry.
2ULaundry also has a generous offer to giveaway to one lucky winner: a free year of laundry delivery service! They will choose one lucky winner who will receive 52 bags of laundry for FREE (a $1,820 value). The campaign runs 12/3 - 12/19 with the winner selected on 12/21- so visit this link and enter to win! What could be a better holiday present than a year of not having to do laundry?
