If you are an organized individual who is ready to jump right into any task at hand, taking on an administrative/clerical volunteer position may be for you!

There is not a nonprofit office in the world that couldn’t use another set of hands on any given day - there is ALWAYS something to be done in the world of philanthropy.

If you can spare the time to conduct research, collect data, or even just answer the phone for a few hours a day, there will always be a nonprofit that could use your help.

Office Support

Metrolina Association for the Blind aims to reduce or eliminate the daily living challenges imposed upon people by blindness or visual impairment. They need volunteers to assist with clerical tasks such as helping with mailings, filing documents, updating records, assembling patient/doctor packets, and answering the phone.

Bethlehem Center of Charlotte
Office Assistant

Bethlehem Center of Charlotte provides educational opportunities for low-income children and families to improve the quality of their lives. They are in need of an Afterschool Office Assistant for one hour per week for a minimum of two weeks per month. Volunteers for this position must be over 18 years of age and pass a criminal history record check.

AFS Intercultural Exchange
Database Manager

AFS's mission is to create a more just and peaceful world by providing international and intercultural learning experiences to individuals, families, schools, and communities through a global volunteer partnership. As an all-volunteer organization, keeping track of contacts built over many years is important. A detail-orientated individual familiar with working with simple databases and willing to maintain our simple volunteer contact database and create lists and reports for communications needs adhoc; and should be comfortable using Microsoft Excel. For a skilled individual, we are also seeking someone to recommend and implement a free nonprofit CRM system.

Administrative Assistant

Child Proof Advice is dedicated to dedicated to teaching parents and all caregivers of children about common hazards in the home that are often overlooked in today’s busy world. Administrative Assistant duties include a variety of tasks such as data entry in SalesForce CRM software (training provided), word processing, making copies, creating a new filing system, ordering supplies, assembly of gift baskets and more as required. Two days per week for 2+ hours depending on your schedule. Virtual office located near Southpark area of Charlotte.

Do you love filing? Organizing offices? We have recently moved and our files and piles of paper need some TLC! This volunteer position will take place in the office of Veteran's Path Up.
