Looking for a GOOD way to spend time with your Valentine this month?
Check out these date ideas hosted by and benefitting local nonprofits! 

1. Rouge by Caroline Calouche & Co. is an aerial and dance show filled with comedy and thrills! Expect the unexpected when you check out this show on Friday, Feb. 14th at 9pm or Saturday, Feb. 15th at 5pm or 9pm. More information and tickets, here!

2. Make your way over to The Mint Museum Uptown Friday, Feb. 14th from 6-9pm for the Light Up the Night event! This FREE Valentine’s Day event features immersive experiences for all ages, including glowing swings on the plaza, live music by DJ Fannie Mae, and pop-up maker spaces inside the museum. Enjoy light bites and illuminated cocktails at the cash bar, and make creative designs at pop-up maker spaces with glow-in-the-dark art activities. More information, here!

3. Grab a dinner reservation or treat your Valentine to a sweet treat whipped up by in-house pastry chef Ashley Anna at Community Matters Cafe! No matter your craving, your visit to the cafe supports the staff of students from Charlotte Rescue Mission who are completing their four-month Life Skills Program at Community Matters Cafe. Make a reservation!

4. Be moved by the talent of The Charlotte Ballet, step back into a different era and enjoy old school jazz, sway to the legendary vocals of award winning musician Tony Bennett, or share a laugh with your Valentine seeing Bill Maher’s latest stand-up show- Blumenthal Performing Arts has something for everyone. 5. Stroll through Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden, picnic in hand, with your valentine! General admission tickets are sold upon arrival at Daniel Stowe for groups smaller than 15, so check out the hours of operation here and plan your visit!
