Laura Ashley gives away hundreds of items to local nonprofits

Laura Ashley, global lifestyle brand known for its iconic floral prints and classic fashion and home furnishings, operates its North American headquarters in Fort Mill, SC. 

The Fort Mill office oversees the design and distribution of Laura Ashley products in the U.S and has established a local showroom to archive and display the brand’s collections. Unable to properly distribute incoming samples during the pandemic, the brand accumulated thousands of items that needed to be cycled out of the showroom.

Each day, they make a difference, collaborating with different people, groups and organizations to increase access to housing by providing flexible, and responsive support.

More Than 150 Local Nonprofits Attend SHARE Fest

SHARE Charlotte hosted their first-ever SHARE Fest event on Thursday, September 22, at the Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont in Charlotte, N.C. More than 150 nonprofit partners attended the event in hopes to connect with service providers who can help their organization thrive. 

SHARE Fest provided an opportunity for local nonprofit organizations to meet 18 service providers in accounting, grant writing, event planning, finance, human resources, IT, assessment, photography, graphic design and much more. 

Antia Dawkins Joins SHARE Charlotte as Marketing Director


SHARE Charlotte is pleased to announce that Antia Dawkins has joined our team as our new marketing director. In this role, Antia will be responsible for creating a broad awareness about SHARE Charlotte through the creation and execution of annual marketing plans for neighbors, nonprofits and partners. She will also be responsible for managing three annual community wide giving campaigns: Do Good Week, Shop for Good and #GivingTuesdayCLT.

This project is supported in part by Youth Service America, whose national goal is 50% youth participation by America’s 250th birthday in 2026.
